ICT GHG Reduction Project Calculator and Documentation Tool
Welcome to the ICT GHG Reduction Project Calculator and Documentation Tool, a web-based tool for calculating the emission reductions resulting from lowering the carbon intensity of computing services through actions such as improving energy efficiency, using low carbon energy sources, or other processes such as cloud computing, consolidation or virtualization.
This tool can be used to either generate a GHG Reduction Project Report for ICT projects that can be registered on CSA's GHG CleanProjectsTM Registry (with the potential to verify emissions by a third party in order to create Verified Emission Reductions), or to generate a report on the environmental impacts of improvements in your ICT services that is useable for Corporate Sustainability Reporting. The documentation and reporting tool has been developed based upon the methods and requirements contained within the ICT GHG Reduction Project Protocol.
